Welcome to my website!
I am an Associate Professor of Political Science at the College of Charleston, focusing on political psychology and American politics.
I received my PhD from Stony Brook University in 2015. My research concentrates on ideology, partisanship, polarization, candidate perception, voting behavior and the 2016 election and its effects on parties.
When I'm not teaching undergraduates and analyzing political data I can generally be found eating brisket around Charleston.
I am on sabbatical between August 2021 and August 2022. Check out my
SABBATICAL BLOG page listed above.
