Welcome to my website!
I am an Associate Professor of Political Science at the College of Charleston, focusing on political psychology and American politics. I received my PhD from Stony Brook University in 2015. My research concentrates on ideology, partisanship, polarization, candidate perception, voting behavior and the 2016 election and its effects on parties.
When I'm not teaching undergraduates and analyzing political data I can generally be found eating brisket around Charleston or poking around backroads and trails in the Low Country.

Twitter: After many years of use, I left this website when it was taken over by an immature narcissist.
